An important leap in the company’s progress was made in 1970 when the legendary ‘Tank’ trolley, made from orange sheet metal, was introduced to the market. The Tank would establish two additional dimensions to the reputation of absolute quality surrounding Beta products: that of innovation and style. A decision was made to apply orange to the handles of all the tools in order to make them easier to find inside typically dark toolbox drawers. The colour would eventually become synonymous with the brand.
